My Approach

I believe therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of experiences that can be difficult to navigate alone. I approach my work with empathy, curiosity, and authenticity, taking the time to understand your experiences and perspective. Building a genuine therapeutic relationship is central to my approach, and I aim to create a space where you can be open about what you are experiencing and feel accepted without judgment.

I am particularly interested in working with adults experiencing anxiety, challenges with self-esteem, emotional regulation, attachment and relationship patterns, and life transitions. My approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, psychodynamic approaches, and client-centred principles. I am interested in helping you understand the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that shape how you see yourself and relate to others, while also developing ways to navigate challenges in the present. I view therapy as a collaborative process and believe you should have the space to develop your own insights and make changes that feel meaningful to you.

I hope to create a therapeutic environment where you feel genuinely heard and understood. I recognize that difficult emotions and setbacks are a natural part of being human, and I aim to approach these experiences with openness and compassion. My hope is that through therapy, you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, along with greater confidence in navigating life in a way that feels authentic to you.
