My Approach

I see therapy as an opportunity to better understand yourself, your emotions, and the relationships that have shaped you. I approach my work with warmth, curiosity, and empathy, and believe that feeling genuinely understood can be an important first step toward change. Rather than focusing only on what is happening in the present, I am interested in helping you explore the experiences and patterns that may be influencing how you feel, think, and relate to others today.

I have a strong interest in relationships, family dynamics, and the ways our early experiences can influence how we understand ourselves. I enjoy supporting individuals as they navigate questions of identity, belonging, and the process of figuring out who they are and what matters to them. My approach draws from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and client-centred principles. I believe therapy should be responsive to the person sitting in front of me, and that there is value in both making sense of difficult emotions and finding ways to move through them. I aim to balance reflection and insight with practical support, while allowing the therapeutic process to unfold at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I bring openness, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand the people I work with. I hope to create a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing, feel less alone in your struggles, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. My goal is not simply to help you get through a difficult period, but to help you feel more connected to yourself and more confident in how you move through life.
